Description: 

The Township of Mulmur is seeking quotations from qualified consultants to conduct a comprehensive Water Rate Study and Financial Plan. The study shall:

  1. Analyze the Township’s current water rate structure and identify areas for improvement.
  2. Provide a detailed financial plan ensuring compliance with provincial regulations.
  3. Recommend a rate structure that promotes equity, sustainability, and efficiency.
  4. Develop projections for long-term operational and capital needs.

The objective of this study is to ensure that the Township’s water rates are equitable, financially sustainable, and compliant with municipal regulations, our municipality’s strategic plan, and industry best practices. The consultant will evaluate the existing water rate system, recommend appropriate rate structures, and develop a financial plan that supports the ongoing operation, maintenance, and future infrastructure needs of the water system.
